Magic: The Gathering "Magic: The Gathering" is a dungeons-and-dragons-type trading card game. The cards are sold by a company called Wizards of the Coast, which created the game in 1993. In order to play, you must first buy some cards (there are several thousand different cards available). Once you have cards, you can trade them with other people in order to improve the quality of your collection. A game takes place between two or more players, and lasts about 20 minutes. To prepare for a game, each player selects a number of cards from his particular collection. Thus, every game is different depending on which cards the players choose to use. Each player represents a powerful wizard, who plays his cards according to his particular strategy. The goal of the game is to gain control of a magical plane of existence. Many people around the world enjoy Magic: The Gathering. For example, Bill Gates often plays this game with his friends, using stock certificates instead of printed cards. (But then Bill plays Monopoly with real money.) Web:

Miniatures I love miniatures and I'm not sure why. It's just so satisfying to hold and look at little things that look just like big things. When I get a chance to browse in a miniature store, I always have a great time, and I always see things I want to take home. I especially like the miniatures of old-fashioned things, maybe because it reminds me of what life was like when I was a kid. If you like miniatures, for collecting or role playing, you'll find lots to keep you occupied on the Net. Web:
